I had a set on my Kona Unit, had troubles with chainbolts creaking and coming loose. Eno's and Middleburn mucho better cranks and can be bought in square taper.

Not cheap enough. I bought (for backup) the old style with removable spider for $40 on Ebay. Came with a BB too! If you take the spider off you can install a custom ring from Boone ($) and never worry about chain bolts again.

i did the exact same thing. why? I took it apart once to clean it and simple green removed the black ano on the spider and chainring, and the chainring bolts never remained tight after that. boone it is!
