The tranny feels(sounds) kinda like a slipping clutch but you don't lose power....it has 2 belt/cables/chains/whatever and when it shifts one tightens up the other loosens...I'm just trying to get used to front wheel drive since I have aways driven trucks.... they are selling pretty much what you see on the site...maybe a tad over...but not a ton of mark up like a lot of newer cars...(Honda Riidgeline)

172bhp from 2.4litres is a pretty poor specific output for anywhere other than north america.
CVT is marketed as a wonder of having no 'shift shock' and being able to hold the car at optimal rpm for performance/economy. The reality is a constant wailing noise under acceleration like a food mixer, inefficiency and dubious reliability. Just my 2 cents LOL!
