Are you telling everyone you can't afford a trip to the $.99 store?

Maybe he can't afford $.99.

Seriously Ross, as cheap as those things are, just buy one. Besides, dirt and dust and junk seem to get into those sleeves anyway, so a brand new one is probably better.

Hard to argue with that much. Although if you rip the music from your CD's at a high bitrate they should still sound pretty good. Downloaded (pirated) music is usually at a fairly low bitrate - usually 128. At that bitrate you do notice a big quality difference between CD's and MP3's.

Roadkill, they sell those at Big Lots for $1.00. I too prefer cd's to ipod in my car. I think if you have any sort of "system" in your car its easier to notice the difference in quality.

i used to carry a huge book of cd's in my car, it was kind of a pain to switch cd's all the time and if your car is broken into, you lose all your cd's! ipod fo lyfe!

I learned after my car was broken into the first time that you only keep copies in the car. Anytime I buy a new CD, the first thing I do is make a copy for the car.
