Default Sweet Bike Levers

I recently ordered a set of handmade bike levers from an Artist/Sculptor named Scott Mitchell. I was sick of the El Cheapo levers that either always break when you need them most (like the polycarbonate ones) or are so flexible that they cant pop the bead of a DH casing tire off the rim.
Here is the sweet part: They are hand forged, shaped and ground out of 6V/4AL Titanium. Yup, Tire levers that will probably outlast the rims you use them on. They are non-coated with heat mark on them where Scott heated the titanium to shape it.
They come in 2 sizes, Road and Mountain and are $10 each, plus $4 for shipping. (I think Ive spent more on the cheap ones). He also has stainless steel ones available if you don't like titanium.
Anyway, If anyone wants to contact Scott to place an order (he has 14 pairs made already but he can make more) here is his address and phone & e-mail:

PO Box 1151
Monticello, UT 84535

He also mentioned if STR would like to combine orders to save on shipping that would be fine.

And here are the pics of the levers (these are Mtn Bike size, the road ones are shorter):

Most levers are not Polycarbonate, but are mostly glassfilled nylon or polypropylene. Polycarbonate has a higher impact strength, but nylon or glassfilled PP has a better flex modulus and better tensile.

Ti levers....now that is bling. But I can't see paying money like that for something I'm going to lose in a month or so ( I always lose those damn levers ).

My Crankbrothers lever (called the Speedlever) IS polycarbonate. (The website even says so). The flexible ones I was referring to are the Nylon, Zytel, GRP and Polypro ones.
I got them just because, as Brian and Adam (Neccros and Kid A) could tell you, getting those Kendas onto my rims was a real b!tch. I just figured that someone on our site might be interested in them too. I re-read my post and it totally looks like I am selling them. I wanted to make it clear that I am just passing the info along in case anyone might want them, and I don't make a dime off of it.
