I have these listed elsewhere but figured I'd post here in case anyone is interested hoping to keep it local to S. Cal.

I just rebuilt a battery pack for a NiteRider Classic just like that. The stock cells are cheapie 1200Mah cells. I replaced them with 5000Mah cells for a total price of $40 shipped. I haven't checked the burn time yet, but I'm sure it's far better than the original cells when new.

So having said that, a total price of $85 is damn good for that light!

I'm thinking about these lights. I don't do any racing so perhaps they would last long enough for a short mid-week training ride for me? Curious what the burn time is?

wonder if a helmet light and 3 handle bar lights are overkill...

It varies on what power level you have it set at. With my original batteries, I was able to get well over two hours while varrying the power settings (with a lot of use on the 32watt mode).

tk, overkill??? What's does that mean?

After testing the NiteRider light suggest a new or rebuild the battery. Have a link from 2wheel_lee and instructions for an inexpensive rebuild. Well worth it...it's a bright system and worked great for me.
