Default Hope Titanium 36 hole front hub, Red, NIB, only 40 bux shipped!

I bought this but then winded up not needing it. Gonna go with a matching XT hubset for my touring bike instead.

I bought it on ebay a few weeks ago, it's still NIB. It came all the way from the Nederlands!

40 Shipped.

eBay: HOPE Titanium FATSO front hub ,RED, 36 holes, MIB (item 200072399879 end time Jan-31-07 07:30:10 PST)

I have no idea, sorry.

I did decide to just keep this one though and build up a spare wheel.

If you want one the seller has more.

I've been reading up on wheelsets for touring bikes and there seems to be a wide discrepency as to what constitutes a good strong wheel. Some guys build light mountain bike wheels, while others have a durable heavier type of roadie wheel. I plan on running a 1.25 to a 1.5 tire, but I can't nail down what I want for a rim/hub?

Are you going with a 700C rim?

Popular choices in 700 C for touring are Mavi A719, A319, and Velocity Dyads.

For hubs, Shimano XT is very popular, if you've got more $ Phil Wood.

My Surly LHT wheelset will be Mavic A719 36h in black, black brass nipples, black DT Swiss Champion spokes and Shimano XT hubs in black.

I'm also building up a heavy duty 40 spoke wheelset using Mavic A719's in Black, White Industries MI5 rear 9 spd, 135mm hub, and Wheelsmith spokes. The front will be a 40 h Schmidt SON Dynamo hub on Mavic A719 with Wheelsmith spokes.
