Do you have a side view pic of it tilted down? I'm wondering if it would clear the tailgate on my truck when I open it.

No I don't. I can take on later for you. It drops down to allow the tire tray and front skewer to drop level with the top bar and the front bar ahead of the pivot to rotate up slightly. If you hitch is below the bumper, it will not interfer with the tailgate.

Now if we could work out a meet halfway, then

Let me know.

Have you tried Craigslist? I had pretty good luck selling my stuff on it.

Well, geez, where do you live? Riverside county or San Diego? Anyways it's a drive huh? Ummm...let me know where half way is and well get it arranged.

CRAIGS LISt is the next step. I wanted someone from here to have it since it is so nice and I am a little unfamiliar with that list.

I live in Southern Riverside county, but there aren't many trails in the area, so I do 90% of my riding in Northern SD county.

Actually, plans came up today--I am going to be riding Holy Jim next Saturday (weather permitting). I could meet you someplace. I am unfamiliar with the area, so name it.

Saturday the 24th? If it's the following weekend, it's a no go for me. Cook's Corner in Trabuco Canyon (Cook's Corner) is a good meeting spot. It's a biker bar that people park at to mtbike STT and old camp and is on the way to Holy Jim Trail Head. It's where El Toro Road splits into Santiago Road and Live Oak Canyon Road-> Map: Map of [19368-19399] Santiago Canyon Rd Trabuco Canyon, CA by MapQuest

How far is that from HJ? Would depend on that and when you are starting and when we are starting I suppose.
