Trying to build up my bike for as cheap as possible so I was wondering if anyone has any old parts, like OEM takeoffs, scratched and beat up parts, etc that they could sell for really cheap so I can get this thing on the road.
I need 36h hubs, a long cage rear derailleur, lx or xt front derailleur, 175mm triple crankset with bb, pedals(any kind), cantilever brakes, saddle, or anything you think I might be able to use please post or PM me with what you have. This bike uses mountain bike parts for the most part, but if you have road bike parts, I could use drop bars, road brake levers, 700x35 tires, etc. Thanks! ![]() |

I have some assorted road stuff at home, saddles, bars, stems and some Truvativ cranks- compact cyclocross cranks- along with some Time atac pedals.
I also have a Ritchey WCS Protocol wheelset if you need a wheelset, I used them for one cross race, they are practically new Let me know if you are interested and I'll check when I get home tonight.

I'd be interested in knowing what type of saddle, stem and bars you have.
The bars I'm kind of picky about because I can get the ones I want(Salsa Bell Lap Moto Ace) for 25 bucks at the Path, in a wide 46cm. But maybe you've got those! ![]() I need another stem with a high rise like the one I've got(dual stem setup, second stem is for mounting handlebar bag) so I can flip it the other way. The cranks need to be a triple with mountain type gears(ie 44/32/22) for climbing up long grades with a fully loaded bike. I also need a Shimano XT 9 spd cassette, 11-32 or 11-34 The wheels need to be at least 36 hole, I weigh 250lbs and there's gonna be another 40-50 lbs of camping gear, clothes and other touring stuff. Let me know if anything you have might work Thanks |

Rob, I think I have a set of avid short 5's Front and Rear Cantilever brakes. I may have a FD (LX maybe), do you need top pull or bottom pull? The only wheels I have are some super burly Rhynolites laced to XTs disc.
Oh, I just got one of those Bell Laps. That's a nice bar. Sorry I'm in love with it and keeping it. Carl |

What would you like for the brakes? For wheels they need to be 700C wheels(29") |

Sorry for the delayed answer.
The hbars are Ritchey WCS and Deda Elementi, both 44cm wide. The stems I have are a Salsa Moto ace and a specialized house stem. I do have a brand new XT cassette, 11-34, and a brand new XT rear der, both still in the package if you are interested. pm me if you are interested.
