I check all the stores in the I.E. to no avail. The giant store in Chino Hills had the wrist mounted running model however, that is all I could find. I will say that my experience calling Walmart's was like pissing in the wind. *If they did have them the staff probably wouldn't be able to tell you, that's if they even answer the phone.

The 605 have the map directions, but it does not have the same training data gathering features (like heartrate) that the 305 had. The 705 is the 305 plus the map directions.

I would not purchase the 605. The 605 is kind of the new color version of the old edge 205. I got a Edge 205 for Xmas and have been wishing it were a 305 ever since. I really miss the HRM and have been disappointed by the inaccurate readings I get from the Altimeter on the 205 because of it's lack of a barometric altimeter. There are also some data fields available on the 305 that the 205 does not have and I've missed them.

Here are the things the 705 has and 605 does not.
Barometric Altimeter (big difference in readings sometimes)
Heart Rate Monitor
Cadence Sensor
Bike Speed Sensor
Unit to Unit Transfer of data
