So I'm looking for a Garmin Edge 305 w/ Heart rate monitor. I'm wondering what the cheapest you've seen them for is and where? Thanks for you help.

Amazon has them for $224.53 w/ free shipping.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BKP80G?...QM38E6YNCXNNE&

I think that's one of the lowest prices out there, unless you find some sort of coupon code at another site.

I didn't originally buy a refurbished one, but that's what I got back when I sent mine in for repair. It's been about 6-7 months, and I'm having some shutoff issues with it now.

This time around, I opened it up and "fixed" it myself and so far..so good. Thanks to the helpful lurker

Sorry for the threadjack

Dubjay:
After you opened your Garmin up, how did you reseal it? The seal on mine has come "loose", its in two peices.

I really dont want to send it in and pay the $100 for a refurbished one. It was a Xmas gift, so I cant get a receipt for it. I have only used it about 10x, bummer seeing it go to waste.

I have a Garmin 305 with HR strap for $170 if you are interested.

It's a little over a year old and I still have the manual/box/packaging. It has never shut down during a ride, but it was hard to start once in Feb. and I had to reset it (press and hold some buttons) to get it to start again. No problems since.

UPDATE: SOLD

I think I may have found the new low price leader on the Garmin Edge 305 HR.

Walmart! $194.86 for what appears to be a new one.

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=4407764

Too bad they don't have a 705 listed

Holy shit, Walmart - like buying conflict diamonds, but damn you can't argue with that price!

Call their 800 number and tell them it's broke and you want an RMA. They will replace it for free.
