Oh that's nothing. You should see what many old school BMX items go for. If you were into BMX in the 70s and 80s, you'd kick yourself for ever selling or getting rid of what you had. If I still had all of the BMX stuff I had when I was a kid, I could now sell it all for at least $100,000 - no kidding. And I probably sold it all for $300 (I have no idea what happened to the last BMX bikes I had).

Exactly!
Check out this Redline collection owned by just one guy. This is just his Redline collection; he has a ton more. G - the owner of the collection - races in my cruiser class at Bellflower. The guy is also a fast racer. http://bmxactiononline.com/index.php...20820&catid=11 Check out the 16" Square Back pit bike and note that he has one of the retro Square Back kits on display.

Oh, me too! I remember when I was a kid, there was a white Pro Line with all red alloy parts at the local bike shop (I think it was Pete's Schwinn, but it's now Buena Park Bicycles). All my friends and I drooled over that bike. Then one of the kid's fathers won big at the horse races and bought him the bike. We were all so jealous. Then we were all mad at him because he badly abused and thrashed the bike that we had all dreamed of owning.
