It's you

Which alert are you using? I have the Firefox plugin and there's maybe a delay of a few seconds.

Wow that makes that a killer deal.

This "hot buy" is a road bike--54 & 58cm Pinarello for $949. Anyone want to try road riding?

I've had good luck with these guys. Fast shipping and easy return process if something doesn't fit.

Cheap Halogen light form L&M. I know a bunch of people were looking for lights and I think this is perfect for those Fully loop nights or commuting. $63 bucks.

Default Chainlove CS...

Chainlove.com aka Steepandcheap.com aka whiskeymilitia.com return concerns....

I'm curious to know if others here have had problems with their orders from Chainlove and affiliates. Yesterday was the 2nd time I ordered an item in one size and received a different size. I understand mistakes happen but what I don't understand and don't like is paying shipping twice for an order they screwed up on. I paid shipping with the order and now, I'm suppose to pay for shipping for it to be returned, just to receive a credit, not even an exchange. At the very least, I believe it would be good CS if they flipped the tab on the shipping back and maybe even the original order shipping charges. I'd prefer an exchange for what I ordered but I understand that's not always an option, considering the nature of their business.

Have others had problems with them and their customer service or return policies? I realize you get some great deals from them sometimes but some consistency and quality control wouldn't be a terrible idea.

That's a bummer. I've bought three different items from them, all clothing, and all were the correct size. Good luck.

Shimano America XTR Front Derailleur:

Shift seamlessly from your big ring to your granny gear with a Shimano XTR Front Derailleur. This XTR derailleur comes in either high-mount Traditional Swing (a.k.a. Down Swing) or the lighter, more compact low-mount Top Swing version (check your frame for compatibility). Both versions feature Shimano's extra-wide Rigid link and can be routed for top or bottom pull derailleur cables. See the drop-down menu for clamp diameters. *Controls, cables not

Down swing if you're buying real estate. Up swing if you bought real estate.

Jose, depends on your bike. Some bikes cannot run certain Front Der. b/c things like the tabs/braces for the shock mounts on the seat tubes get in the way.

Update: Although it sucks getting things wrong, after sending them an email expressing my concerns, they're sending me a call tag and hopefully giving me credit for the full order amount, including shipping. Not so bad customer service after all...

"Thanks for contacting ChainLove.com. And thanks for letting us know about this situation. We are very sorry that we sent you the incorrect item.

Unfortunately, we are also out of stock on that particular item as well. I am very sorry for this large inconvenience. We have two options from here. We can either refund your account back if you wish or if you can find a similar replacement item to order instead, we can definitely help you out on that. Also, a UPS label will be e-mail to you as well to return the incorrect item free of charge. Please let us know what you would like to do in this case as soon as you can.

Thanks!"

Bought some Dakine gloves for around $9.00. Ordered a medium and recieved a large. Not worth the hassle. Thought it was just me. Gave it as a gift to the Slappy one
