FS: My vintage AlpineStars Al-Mega E900 SS!
Hey gang,
I'm selling my Alpinestars SS. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I have nothing personal against this beauty (even though she threw me OTB!). I just need some cash, and I'm not willing to part w/ my KHS! It's a 19". DRIVETRAIN: Polished XTR cranks (M900), Onza stainless 34t ring, purple ano bolts, Kick Ass Cogs 18t rear, KMC Z-chain, Odyssey platform pedals. FRONT WHEEL: Campagnolo rim/hub, Bontrager Jones 2.1 tire. REAR WHEEL: Mavic 231 rim, White Industries hub, titanium tye-dye spokes, Yeti Claw 2.1 tire. STEERING: Chris King Devolution 1 1/4" to 1 1/8" headset, Kona P2 CrMo fork, Answer Manitou stem, Answer Hyperlite bars, Onza Porcipaw grips, and some Onza bar ends if you want them (not currently on the bike). BRAKES: Dia-Compe cantilevers, Dia-Compe levers, Onza Chill Pill cable hangers More info on the bike (as new) here: http://bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeS...2469&Type=bike No idea what to ask, as it's a pretty random vintage bike with lots of retro bits and accents. I cried when I sold my Salsa SS... had an original switchblade Bontrager fork on it... it beat the heck out of me, but I loved that bike! sorry to hear you need the $$$ grasshopper Shawn. Hopefully, you will find a good home for it.
