Default Eastern Slash

So im sure you have all seen the Eastern Slash 7" travel frame is on sale on Jenson for $425.
Aside from the frame being heavy, and a single pivot, it seems like a good deal
Any thoughts?
I though that rear shock alone costs over 300?

Default Ok

This is a OE only DHX air rear, low end, shock on a Mountain Bike that is made by a BMX company.

But the price is still good.

Yeah I was curious about those, seem pretty reasonable for the shock at that price. Eastern makes some killer BMX stuff so there should be no issues with geometry. Rear end is supposed to be by Ellsworth so it ought to work pretty well. TT slopes a lot definitely not a XC bike but for Hucking and shuttling you cant beat that price.

What type of riding, I.E. does he climb on it?

Looks rad for 4X or some DJ, I think 7" is overkill for most of the trails I do but only because of the way up.

He raced 4x at fontana on it, and bombed the downhill on it also

It would need a platform and a long ass post to go up hill, but very slick for Jumps and racing on a budget. I chose an intense tracer because every other XC frame in my price range would not survive long.
