Cool WTB: FS XC Frame

I'm looking to buy a FS XC Frame. Some frames I am fond of are Truths, Spiders, Superlights, Blurs, Epics & Epiphanys (even though I'm not sure the Epiphany is in my price range). An RP23 would be great, but its not required. I'm 5'8" w/ a 30" inseam. I'm figuring a Medium would work for most frames. I'm building from scratch so any additional parts could be packaged as well. Thanks!

You could always strip it, and send it to Olympic Powder Coating in Santa Ana or run it raw which is now in vogue. Still end up with a killer deal.

That is very intruiging. Any idea what $ range I might be looking at for re-painting? Are manufacturers ever receptive to re-issuing factory decals?

I wasn't very familiar with the 5.5 until I read your post. After some cursory research, I'm thinking the 5.5 FRO could easily do the trick. I guess I am wondering if going from a hardtail to a 5.5 rear 100-140mm front will be a difficult transition.

I bought and built up the Intense 5.5 a few weeks ago. Thanks for all the replies though. I may have a friend interested in the Santa Cruz frame/fork/seatpost combo. Is it a medium size? How much are you asking?

I might be able to let my Yeti 575 go for $1500 (complete bike) but it's a small 2007 model.

On the bargain end of the spectrum, I have a 2007 Ibex Astra frame, size medium with an Ario 2.2 shock (lockout, rebound). It's a similar design/geo to many more expensive frames. It's yours for $150. Includes a Cane Creek S-3 headset (no crown race), Truvativ seat post and seat post clamp.
