Default FS: Rocky Mountain RMX size large, frame or complete

I am selling my rocky rmx, I'd prefer to sell it as a frame but I will sell it as a complete if someone wants it. I bought the frame about 3 months ago and the guy who I bought it from barely rode the bike so this frame is in GREAT shape. There are NO dents, NO cracks, NO dings, and there are barely any scratches. The shock was rebuilt last week by fox and I just got it back today so it has ZERO rides on it and I have new pivots on the way from rocky mountain so the bike will have brand new pivots and a fresh schock rebuild. If you buy the frame I will include the frame, fox dhx 5.0. fsa pig sealed headset, rear axle, seatpost clamp[a new one unless you want the orange one] and an easton seatpost. The reason I am selling the frame is because it is too small, I may consider a trade for a bigger large or x-large dh frame. This frame will fit someone from around 5'10 to 6'5. The frame uses a 150x12mm rear wheel and has an 83mm bottom bracket. If ou want to buy it as a complete the parts spec is: saint cranks, '04 RockShox Boxxer WC(blackboxed '06, '07 top crown, and '04 short and tall crown, Mavic EX729's laced to saint Hubs (20mmx110mm Fr, 12mmx150mmRR)+Centerlock 203mm rotors + specialized chunder pro dual ply's 26x2.3, Saint Brakes, XT levers, Titec Ringleader Bars, RM Grips, Thomson 40mm Stem, and Shimano XT Top Pull Top Swing Fr Der, Saint RR Der (med + short cage)XT Fr shifter, SRAM Rocket RR Shifter + Saint RR shifter.

I dont really have a price but I need to sell the frame fast so make offers!!

I have pics of the frame but not the parts.

I'm not sure either. Kurt, you out there? How much do these go for?
Maybe 800?

(just got clued into this thread) James, yeah. I'd say $800 is a really good price for that frame. Its looks clean. RMX are such nice DH bikes, perfect Mammoth bike.

I forgot to add that my friend designed a new rocker in solidworks for this bike to slacken and lower it. He said he would tweak the design to whatever goemetry you wanted but the head angle does influence the bb so you have to pick the best combo of the 2. This rocker doesn't come with the frame though, you have to pay to have it machined.

hey man, it was cool meeting you too. I'm not sure what I'm getting yet, I'm looking really hard, there are such a limited selection of bikes that will actually fit me. I'll probably be riding G again on saturday.

bump, frame still for sale. I need to sell it really soon so offer away. The pivots were all replaced about a week and a half ago. The shock still has zero rides because I have been riding it with my shorter dhx. I will sell the frame with the stock dhx with zero rides or my shorter dhx which has some custom work done to it. The shorter shock slackens and lowers the bike and gives it 7.3 inches of travel instead of 8. I will probably sell my back wheel too which is a hadley on 729 and was just relaced with new spokes last week. I may also sell my 83mm saint cranks too.

I'll get new pics of everything tonight.

Whoever buys the frame I'll give them their choice of derailers, either a saint derailer and an xtr shifter or and xtr derailer and an xtr shifter. I recommend the saint because thats what I ran and you dont have to worry about broken or bent hangers.

Hers prices,

Frame with headset and seatpost, no shock-$450

Fox dhx 5.0 with zero rides since rebuild, 8.75x2.75-$250

150x12mm hadley on 321[same as 729], just relaced with new dt straight gauge spokes-$150

If you want the frame with shock $650 and if you want the back wheel too $750

Heres the pics,

I decided to sweeten the deal by throwing a roco world cup on the frame which is alot better than the dhx. The roco has been only ridden 3 times total since the shock was new. All the pivots were replaced on the frame about 2 weeks ago and I just installed a new derailer hanger. $650 for everything pictured.

and heres pics of the rear wheel,

the rims is just barely out of true and the rim has maybe one or 2 really small dings in the sidewall but other than that and a few scratches the wheel is perfect. I just relaced the wheel with new dt swiss spokes about 2 weeks ago. This is an almost $400 back wheel and is a steal at only $150.

Am I missing something here?

Looks to me like a SMOKIN' deal on one bada$s frame!!!

Add to it a Wheelworld (or similar) BUILD KIT and one will have a pretty sick DH bike "on the cheap."
Just my opinion...

Wheelworld Kit- http://wheelworld.com/itemdetails.cfm?id=2898
(Note: Not all parts will be compatible)

Note: While I do not know James (or the actual condition of the frame), it does appear to me to be a pretty sweet deal. I hope the frame finds a worthy home!
