Thumbs up For Sale: Kona Kula hardtail - excellent condition

Kona Kula hardtail, approx 15" frame. Best fit probably for someone in the 5'3" to 5'6" range, but your sizing may vary. This bike has truly been a garage queen with very little trail time, only used by a little old lady to pick up her pills and some government cheese.

Build is:
Kona Kula (est 2000-2002 model year)
Race Face low-rise bars
Lizard Skins grips
Race Face stem
Chris King headset
Marzocchi Bomber LT form (2003 model, recently serviced)
XTR v-brakes
XT shifters
New Shimano cables
XT front der
XTR rear der
XTR chain
Sugino cranks
cheesy platform pedals (you know you want them)
Cheesy suspension seatpost (takes the sting out
(I have a good seatpost for it, but am drawing a blank on the make - will edit later when my Alzheimers improves)
Seat - yes
Tires - check
(see notes above and below about my failing memory)
Mavic 217 rims w/XT hubs.

Probably more to it that I'm forgetting - hit me with questions and I'll respond a.s.a.p.

Nice bike - very light & efficient and in excellent condition. Yes, i posted this bike for sale several months ago, but never quite got her sold. Now I'm moving and I'd really like to move this bike. I'd love to see it go to someone in the STR family, but if not it'll be on Craigslist in a couple days.

$350. PM if interested

I don't know if this helps, but I rode this bike once at Coyote Run, and I'm 5'3" but have shorty legs (I'm Asian!). It worked out just fine after adjusting the seat height.

From the graphics, that frame looks pre-2000 to me. That's not to say it's not a nice bike. Just sayin' ...

ODB: Thanks for the clarification. I was going by the date that the previous owner told me, and as you and another person have now pointed out, the graphics do seem to indicate that it's older than I thought. But it is still a pristine bike.

edit: And I finally remembered that the better seatpost I have for it is a Syncros. Still can't remember what the seat or tires are though (sigh)

2nd edit: I almost forgot about SoCaliStinky who actually was 1st in line. Sorry! Slo is currently 2nd in line, followed by Pugz and GatorGrl. PMs coming to each of you.

Looks like SoCaliStinky has withdrawn. I'd like to get this bike sold before I move this week - preferably tomorrow (Sunday) if possible. Slo, Pugz, and Gator - y'all gots PM.
