Default For Sale: 1993 Specialized Stumpjumper

I was thinking about keeping this bike for myself because it's so nice and old school but I got real and realized I'd never ride this. Anyways I think it's a '93 but don't quote me on that.

Regardless, it's in beautiful condition and in almost completely stock form (with exception to saddle/tires). It shifts really well with the except for that it won't go into the big ring up front (so I guess it doesn't shift really well..) All the other gears shift just like a new bike today, full LX components.

It measures 18 inches from middle of BB to top of seat tube, so it's a size 18. Measures 21 inches from middle of head tube to middle of seat tube.

The saddle pictured is my dad's comfy seat and won't be included but I'll find another one to throw on there, nothing special.

Oh yeah, it'll cost you $100 even. And no monkey business. Unless you're a monkey, then it's on...

By the way, this frame likely has horizontal dropouts, which could make this a fun singlespeed project. That bike's in very nice condition. I just inherited a bike very similar to this that's not nearly as nice.

Canti's rule! (nice clean Speshee). Someone should pick that up for the vintange bike dealio next week.

I'll give you $100.00 in foreign money but you have to give me your bank information as I will have my royal connections and ambassador from my country mail you a money order plus $4800.00 (common mistake in my country), which you can keep $100.00 for your troubles and I'll need the rest ($4600.00) of it cash upon pick-up of the bike!

Pretty sure it's a 7 speed. I already got like 7 emails from my craigslist ad so this may go today.

Looks like a beautiful candidate for the upcoming STR Vintage Ride!

Looks like it's in VERY nice shape. Cool bike! That would ROCK as a SS!

Like I said above, it does not say frame size anywhere but if you want I can measure standover or let me know of some other way to measure it. Honestly at 6'2 I would think you're a bit big for it but who knows.

You measure from center of crank @ crankbolt up to top of seat tube to get the frame size.

I will measure as soon as I can, probably wednesday or thursday, sorry. Unless I can call my brother to do it for me. I'll keep this updated.

Most companies get this measurement center to center (center of BB to center of top tube), unless it's a newer bike with a steep-sloping top tube in which case they would use the top of the seat tube.

However, top tube length is a more crucial measurement in terms of fitment.

After measuring from the middle of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube it is a size 18. The top tube measures 21 inches from middle of seat tube to middle of head tube.

Hope this helps.
