Default FS: 2008 Cannondale Scalpel team edition

For sale: 2008 Cannondale Scalpel team replica, Medium.

You don't need to be told how awesome this bike is, but I'll tell you anyway. It's the ultimate racing machine, a 22 lb full suspension bike that's a rocket on the climbs and destroys the downhills. This is a post-recall model. Specs include:

* Lefty Speed Carbon SL, 110 mm fork
* Cannondale Hollowgram BB30 SL, 29/44 cranks w/
ceramic bearing BB.
* Crossmax SLR wheelset
* SRAM X0 trigger shifters, X0 rear derailleur
* XTR front der. & cassette
* Avid Juicy Ultimate brakes
* Thomson Elite seatpost
* FSA K-Force flat carbon handlebars
* RP23 rear shock

I've had this bike since March and it's been ridden a couple hundred miles and in four races. It's it great shape, though it does show some normal signs of use, such as some scuffs and nicks on the wheels and crank arms. It's been maintained by a highly-regarded SoCal bike shop.

Included with the bike is a really cool Cannondale Headwrench Tool, which is a multi-tool that fits inside the steer tube of the Lefty fork. Also included are two sets of brand-new replacement brake pads.

I'm listing it for $4100, although I'll knock a couple hundred off that price if the buyer pays cash and can do a SoCal pickup. More pictures and info available upon request.

I love it. It's way fun to ride. But my wife and I have decided to start house hunting.

(Don't tell her, but I'm kinda hoping it doesn't sell)

Why not? Do tell. I'm new to riding and no one seems to like them. Why?

Ha, I love this one.

I think he was just doing me a "favor" based on my comment that I was secretly hoping it doesn't sell.

Yeah, it went within 15 minutes of being posted on eBay. I knew it would sell, but I wasn't expecting it to go that fast.

Might see you at Rim Nordic. Depends on what the 12 Hours of Temecula does to me, especially now that I'm back on the hardtail.

I think you'll be really tired and you should totally skip Rim Nordic. That way I'll be one place higher...er, I mean you'll be more rested. Yeah, that's what I meant!
