Gone ridin'

It kind of made me feel/see the riders in a much more human light. Instead of just a few guys out doing crazy stuff it shows how hard they work and train to be where they are at. It doesn't show the partying and stuff, but, still. They at least spent a few days suffering to film the movie I hope if the guys do another movie maybe they get back to the "trip" feel that they had in the Collective. But, Season's still has that cool feel to it. The music isn't as great IMO. I also missed not having a Ryan Leech scene. |

Spinning my wheels

Well, like others have mentioned, I was a little skeptical before watching the film...I mean, nobody talks about it like they have done with Roam/Collective.
BUT...by the time I saw Steve Peat ride down his driveway and down his trail, I was hooked. Loved the music (good to have a break from Rise Against, Latch Key Kid is sweet!) and loved the segments, the interviews, etc. I can't say which one of the Collective films is my favorite, though...it would be like picking your favorite kid...they're all different but all awesome! |

I agree with Steph. To me, Seasons has more soul. You see what the riders go through and how they do it. For example, Cam gets to practice his tricks into a pool. Darren however is jumping into an icy river with a wetsuit on. The dedication these riders go through helps you relate to them. Matt talking about his mom telling him his job is dangerous. How many people have told you they think you're crazy to go mountain biking? For me, it's all the time at work. Especially when I show up dinged up.
I don't agree with the others on the music though. I think this is one of the better soundtracks. It keeps your attention and for some reason, makes me happy. |
