Are you married to a particular style? I have a Thule 934XT Hitching Post Pro Hitch Rack I'm looking to sell.

It holds four bikes and works well, I just don't drive the car with the hitch very much.

Hey Lynn,

http://www.performancebike.com/shop/...tegory_ID=4411

I think hes talking about this one. I could of sworn somebody said stay away cuz it sucked but I cannot find the thread, maybe it was on that other site. I guess there's some folks here that like them.

Somebody did say to stay away because he put his bike on his friend's rack and the bikes fell over with only the tire straps holding on the bike. I have personally had this happen to me too. The ONLY way this is even possible is if you forget to put the takedown pin back into the vertical bar. It is virtually impossible for this pin to back out on its own because it is notched and has to be rotated in order to come out. This is USER ERROR and not any fault of the rack. I have had this rack for 2-3 years now and never had any problem with it. I guess my only beef with it is that it is 75 lbs, but that's in a way a good thing because the thing is VERY durable and isn't about to fall apart.

And yeah, that is the correct link for Performance. Looks like they are sold out.

I run the same rack in the 2 bike model. Very happy with the performance. Just don't leave it on there and let someone else back your car up and into something with the rack. Remind them that there is a rack there. Everyone seems to always be in a hurry and that's how sh8t happens.

Yes, I have a hitch-mount rack that needs to go. It's an Access 4 Bike Rack. It's a parallelogram design that pivots downward without crashing the bikes into one another. It's been used about three times and doesn't have any blemishes, except the expected scratches where it shoves into the receiver.

Retail online is about 250. If you're interested, I'll make you a killer deal.
