Have you thought about the Cane Creek adapter and a decent normal fork?

Additionally, we make a Double Xc-short, which allows the use of a 1-1/8” fork with Cannondale HeadShok frames.

indeed i have, but my headshok is making horrible clunks and i dont have the 600.00+ dollars to upgrade to a good fork and all the associated things to go along with it (stem, headset, possible disc if i cant find a fork w/studs).. so now im just trying to find a decent priced replacement so i can keep riding w/o the front end coming apart. fork suggestions?

Pricepoint has an 85mm Marzocchi MX Comp for 185.00 and it's V-Brake compatible. http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/137...hi-MX-Comp.htm

Jensonusa also has one for $213.00 but that one is the 120mm version. http://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...20+Eta+05.aspx

They get good reviews on MTBR http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/2005_fro...t_124517.shtml

I've got a 100 mm Marzocchi EXR Pro 2004 that I'd be willing to sell for cheap. It can handle disc or rim brakes. Mine is stock but people tweak the oil and/or spring to get a variety of feels.
