Let's just hope they don't have a sale on XL Specialized Epics anytime soon.
This looks like a conspiracy to make the shop owners feel guilty
Looks like its working, so keep it up I guess...

Will this tactic work in other industries? Like mabey... Beer stores??

See? The trend is over and they are trying to get rid of all the leftover 29" stock that nobody is buying!

Was in The Path yesderday and it made me think of walking into shops in the late 80's.

Back then bike shops we dominated by road bikes and beach cruisers..........and a little section in the corner with those d^m trendy M-Bikes.

I walk inThe Path and to the right two fully built 29'ers. Above the counter 1/2 were 29'er frames. Walk back to the shop.......they are builing a 29'er wheelset. Walk to the back show room..........two or three road bikes a few 26'ers and the rest 29'ers.

26'ers are on there way to being a "specialty bike" and 29'ers will soon be the new standard

Doubtful, but the Path certainly has a certain aptitude for specializing in what people want at the time.

Yes, All RS forks (or all brands) for 30% off suggested retail price and while you're at it, throw 30% off towards C.K. thru-axle wheel sets. Thanks!
