Interested. How does the Minute adjust travel? I dial like U-turn? Is it an air or coil fork?

It's a coil fork. It has a wind-down knob (the black one) on top of the left fork leg (similar to the Rock Shox U-Turn setup).

It's an air fork with adustable travel (120, 140, and 160 mm). The RC2 model features adjustable high and low speed compression damping (the standar TALAS 36 does not have this). The beauty of this year of fork over prior years is not only the updated valving, but it has a quick-release 20 mm axle. The steer tube is 7.5". This fork retails for $1025 - get it now for only $600

- Manitou Minute II - This fork is brand new. It is a coil fork with on-the-fly adjustable 100 to 130 mm of travel. the steer tube has not been cut. - $175

Do you have a weight on the minute? I'm interested in a 3.6lb fork, but not a 4.4lb'er.
Thanks.

Man, I bought a new '08 Talas 36 RC2, and it rocks, buttery smooth, quick release TA.
This is the BEST price you'll see for a long time, if your in the market I recommend jumping on this now, as its a screaming deal on an awesome fork, hurry before he comes to his senses and changes his mind.

I'll try to weigh it tonight. The fork I'm selling is a 2006 model. The '04-05 Minute II had 30 mm stantions (compared to the 32 mm stantions on this fork) and it was also air, instead of coil. Considering it had smaller stantions and it was air, the older Minute II is surely lighter. Considering that a Fox Float 32 (air) is about 4 pounds even, I'm betting that this coil fork will be a bit more.

I think you're right. Greenfish lists the weight for the 2006 model as 4.4 lbs.
Good luck, $175 is a great price for a new fork. Greenfish is selling it for $279.

Oh man, I can't believe your selling that talas. That's like my dream fork. My rebate check would totally cover that fork. But I really shouldn't.

This TALAS is an awesome fork. It really changed my mind on how good an air fork can be.

Besides, you only live once, right? And trust me, you get older much faster than you get younger!

I just put a 32 on my spider and I'm loving it. Especially the 120mm setting on the downhills. The travel adjustment dial, uh I mean LEVER! is awesome to use while riding. Super plush, but ramps up at the end so I never feel it bottoming.

This is a great deal on a killer fork, the 36 Talas is awesome. I will be in the market for a deal like this in about a month when my other parts sell.

Default Lee...

Hey Lee,
Put me in line for that fox 36. I see a pending sale, but if it falls through, I am in.

I tried to PM you, but my machine is not letting me. Anyway, pm or email me if it falls through. I can pay cash tomorrow.

Jeff
