Ok now I could use your collective advice. Because of my accident last friday I am in need of a new helmet. What brands and makes do you all have? And how much do you trust them?
P.S. Mabey George could swing some Sponsorship cash this way to cover of the cost? [-o<

If you liked your last one (it sounds like it did it's job) check with the manufacturer. Most have crash replacement allowances.
Everyones head is different so I would try several to see what works for you. I like the looks of the Giro Xen. It has a little more protection for the back of the head. Think of a skate helmet with vents and a visor. They have a pretty cool looking urban camo pattern for '06. You can get '05/'04 close-outs for around $70. C |

Like I said on the previous post, I love the Gyro Xen. My previous helmet was a Specialized S1, just like yours. If you return it to Specislized, they will send you a 20% discount for your next Specialized helmet. I did it when broke my first Specialized and got the S1. But it means that you have to wait for the discount to come in (a couple of weeks)
