Default SOLD!!! Intense 6.6 Frame - Medium

I am selling my medium Intense 6.6. The bike was built up last June and ridden a handful of times (so few that I could name them, too). The frame has a raw finish. I had clear protective tape in all cable rub locations and velcro where the chain could rub. The frame is in excellent condition.

The frame includes a Fox DHX air shock, as shown.

Also included is the Intense seat post clamp and a Cane Creek Double X headset with races for both 1-1/8" and 1.5" forks (sorry, the lower race for the 1-1/8" is not shown). The seat and post shown are not included.

SOLD!!!

I'm 5'11" and I had a 70 mm stem on it, although 90 mm stem would have been good, too. Just as well, a 50 would have been good for more technical rides. I just went with a 70 to fit in the middle.

Too bad it's a med. Lee, what are the main differences between the 6.6 and your new SS as far as riding style. Is it more trail as oppose to freeride? As you know, I'm looking for a good all mountain/freeride bike. Not really a DH. I want to be able to pedal the same trails I do now, but will have a much funner time on the steeper sections than I do on my true XC bike with 4" of travel front and back.

The SS is more freeride oriented. The SS has a slacker head angle and a lower bottom bracket. It's also a couple pounds heavier. The SS is a lot more DH oriented. Because of the slacker head angle and weight, it doesn't climb as well as the 6.6. I had the 6.6 built up right at 32 pounds, and that was with the Maverik seat post and heavish rims and tires, so you could get it a bit lower, if you wanted. The 6.6 is probably one of the best all-mountain bikes you'll find. You should have grabbed Carla's (cbharping) small 6.6 when it was up for sale!

Ya I know, It'll haunt me forever, but I just couldn't pull the trigger until I had my Rocky mtn all paid. I'm still looking at the Slayer SXC as well. Thanks for the info and good luck with the sale. Whoever buys it will be totally stoked!

Yeah, the SS is siiick. I happen to have a brand new medium that is too big for me that I am selling to get a small. I demoed a small and it works really well for me so the medium must go.

To the OP, I have a friend who may be interested, I will let him know

Thank you Art!

Here's the picture of the rear cable routing around the link. At this time, I did not have a zip-tie around the cables and the top tube.

Make sure to post some pictures of it when it's done. Action pictures are highly welcomed.
