Default FOUND: Inexpensive 175mm Crankset

Looking for something to replace the crappy Suntour crankset that Ted has worn out on his Giant Reign. 175mm is a must and square taper is preferred as we have a good BB in there, but will consider anything that is a good deal. I do have a spare Race Face outboard bearing style BB, so something that would fit it would be considered too.

Not in a position spend too much on it right now, so the cheaper the better. Thanks in advance. If there's something you might need in trade, that would be considered too.

Thanks in advance.

OK, you mention 175mm is a must but also say you will consider anything if it's a good deal, so I'm just throwing this out there. Beyond has 170mm Race Face Ride XC's for $29.99. http://www.beyondbikes.com/bb/ItemDe...CRA%2DRide170I

Pretty good deal for new cranks if you can swing the 170mm part.

He's pushing 6'4" and uses the Reign as his trailbilke, so I don't think 170mm will work well for him, but thanks for the head's up.

Problem solved. I started digging around the garage and found an old crankset that I had removed from my daughter's Jekyll a few years back.
