Default Thank you STR

A big thank you to STR members for voicing their opinion on tube prices at Jax. I was able to work with the owner on lowering tube prices for the enthusiast rider who buys a lot of them. 26 inch presta and schraeder standard tubes as well as 700x23c standard tubes and 29 inch standard tubes were $5.99. They still are $5.99 at a single unit price but if you buy 5 it's 5 tubes for $20.00 making them $3.99 each now. This is good at all of our locations. This is new and some of our staff may not know this yet. We are getting the word out to all employees as fast as possible. Price adjustment will come up automatically if the quantity is 5 or more.
This puts us in line with most other shops and better than some also. Some are still cheaper but this was a common complaint I read about on here so I hope this helps. In order to get that price they have to be the same sku so it's gotta be 5 of the same tube.
Thanks again for allowing me to make a difference and help out.
Brent,
Jax Irvine

Ask and we shall receive! Now, If we can convince him to drop the price on a EX9 to around $500

Getting better!

Although when they had the grand reopening sale at the Fullerton store, I got 10 tubes for $20. Unfortunately, I had leaks at three valve stems (where the tube bonds to the stem), and so those became the tubes I gave out to ill-prepared people on the trail. I now swear against using Bontrager tubes. Bontragers and Continentals seems to be the worst.

I've never had a problem with Specialized or Kenda tubes (perhaps Specialized tubes are made by Kenda?).
