Hey,

This bike (Large 19") has only seen 4 months of trail riding (August 2007 - November 2007) before i moved on to full squish for Christmas. I am the 2nd owner, first owner was roadie that never got into the off-road scene. When i purchased the bike it was flawless with no scratches and the original tires with almost 100% tread. Since then i have replaced the 44T chainring, put on GEAX SAGUARO tires (80% tread remaining), and had it tuned up periodically at a LBS. I recently had it prepped and tuned to prepare for sale. This is a great entry to intermediate level XC rig weighing in at right around ~27lbs. There are a few nicks on the frame which are pictured, nothing catastrophic of course. In fact for being 5 years old this frame is in excellent condition. The condition mainly reflects the few trail rides it's been on in its entire life. The saddle isn't pictured but I can include it but it is starting to tear at the seams because I've had it on my other rig. I will be removing the bottle cages and frame-mounted pump prior to sale. Only recommendation i have is the replacement of the chain since i haven't been riding it. It has developed some rust but a kerosene bath would remedy that issue, in fact i may just do this for you.

Reason for selling: other than the fact that i don't ride it anymore i recently got a nasty speeding ticket on my way up to mammoth a few weekends ago. i want to balance the price of that ticket and because i don't work I must do this. $300 OBO is the price I'm setting. Do not be alarmed if this seems high, just pm me any offer and we can negotiate. That's just a ballpark figure that represents a close estimate of my fine. If anyone has more information on the market value of this bike please let me know so I can adjust my asking price. Thank you.
