Bad bad timing.
![]() I will be tossing a Delta on my next Dh rig but that will not be until the house we have for sale sells, and that might be a looong time the way the market is right now. The worst thing about STR are all the deals that pop up and I have not the cash to buy. ![]()

What year is this fork? Not trying to burst your selling bubble, but the asking price and definetly the claimed msrp is a bit over priced. Are you considering offers, and also are you keeping the shifting components or selling those also. |

If you buy online like beyond bike, go ride, or any of those places then yes msrp is 1600 dollars. For the most part if you go into a store looking for an 08 40 they will more than likely cut you a deal and sell for anywhere from 1400 to 1500 bike shop msrp. If it's an 07 or less then msrp doesn't apply anymore especially since they change the internal design every year and it's been used. Which in this case it has been used enough to get the seals changed. This will be my last post regarding priceing since I don't want to take away from his sale by mentioning prices. |

Yes I changed the seal out and no I didn't have to I am picky as anyone who knows me probably already knows. Being a mechanic when I change fork oil to increase the performance of a fork I change out the oil and anything that will update the fork including the seals. Being in the industry I make the calls nessary to get the best parts possible. You can not do anything more to the forks to make them better.
I keep my components in top condition. I changed the forks to $700 For more info send me a PM I just got home from easter dinner. I will be reading and answering as many questions as possible. |

It has no spring rate. I think i am going to keep the dhx coil for willis bike. If she doesn't want it I will sell it. I don't remember what spring is on that shock i will look tomorrow. Send me a PM to remind me tomorrow. I have to dig it up I boxed up a lot of my bike stuff.
I think It might be a 450 spring. What would you be putting it on and how much do you weigh? |
