Default High Quality Lycras

I'm in the market for some high quality lycra shorts (for road use [gasp]). If anyone sees a killer deal on shorts and remembers me, shoot me a PM. I wear size Ned - Lrg.

More specifically I'm looking for some higher end shorts from Castelli, Louis Garneau, or Pearl Izumi (in that order). Looking for something higher up in their product range, but nothing stupid expensive like Assos shorts. My budget is about $70, anymore than that and it is hard for me to justify the price.

Check this site out. The shorts are as good as the hi dollar ones.

Check out the Voler website.

Their 'peloton' short (I purchased through MTBR) is the most comfortable short I have ever owned (including high-end Izumis).

The other shorts I was looking at were these Louis Garneau for $99 down from $160.

Or the Voler Elite for $89

My legs don't look that good to be worth that kind of money per pair of riding shorts.

Mine do - that's the problem

the last thing I need is a group of Mexican guys at a jobsite to be whistling at me as I ride by
