Default Jayco Pop-up camper $2000.00

Hi All -

I'm just throwing this out here to see if anyone has an urge to purchase a pop-up camper?

Our asking price is $2000.00 (we are pretty firm on this price) that's less than a decent bike and it will provide you shelter while riding your bike in far away places

I don't have any good pictures of it at the moment (i'll pull it out of the garage and take some if there's interest) but to give you an idea of what it looks like .

EDIT GOOD PICTURES ADDED
  • It's a 1998 Jayco 12ft udk
  • Sleeps 8 or 6 adults comfortably - King slide out, Queen slide out, U-shaped sofa turns into a full, and the eating area turns into a twin
  • has a 8ft awning with an added bonus room (screen & canvas)
  • Working Heater by propaine, works with battery and plug in electric
  • Working 3 way fridge, (3way = propaine, electric & DC (battery).
  • Has a water tank but it needs a good flush
  • Propaine stove, for inside or outside (usually we use it outside for more storage room inside)
  • spare tire
  • Tons of storage
This camper has normal wear and tear inside and out we've owned it for 4 years and used it for camping at several race venues. It has been really good to us!

You ask why are we selling it? Because the Adams family finally made the next step and have purchased a 18ft camper.

Like I said, i'm just throwing this out there, I will be pulling it out and taking good pictures this weekend and listing it on craigslist and a few other places.

Thanks for your time!
Looking at queen. Note:Stove can go inside or outside

Looking at the King

Dinette down as twin bed

U sofa & down as full bed

Wow - thanks everyone for your pm's/interest!

I will get some pictures taken either tonight after work or tomorrow am before work.

thanks
Traci

Just another tid bit of info for ya:

Worried about storage? We store it in our 2 car garage when it's not at the cabin. It still leaves us plenty of room in the garage.

2500 lbs and 3500 packed (i'll check the #'s when I get home just to be sure)

FWIW: we used to tow this baby with our Chyrsler Town & Country minivan (with a hitch we put on ) As a matter of fact most of the miles we put on it are from towing back & forth from WI to MN with the minivan.

I even feel comfortable driving with it hitched, you barely feel it, I think it has a ton to do with the the fact there is not the big draft like on a regular camper.

I hope that helps

All BEER - oh and the port-a-potty (needed item for the young ones and the middle of the night )

Actually you'd be surprised how much you can pack in it.

Default Inside - kinda

Extras:

Drawer with water hose, plug ( so you can plug into a regular outlet, 2 lamps run on battery too, fire extinguiser, canvas patch

the lights extra lights when in use

Details and towable weight

2 blemishes

1st one is a tear from the orignial owner that I patched, and a 2nd tear in the canvas that we duct taped

2nd one is a strap (1 of 4) that snaps to the camper to hold the awning in it's case - it doesn't affect anything that we've noticed.

There are also a few more photo's in my gallery.

thanks for looking

Can't afford it at this point in my life, but this is the next logical step up from the 2-person tent the g/f and I share when we travel to races. Good luck selling it; I'll keep my ears peeled if one of my racing'riding buddies are in the market.

So...I listed this on craigslist last night, Within 10 mins a gentleman called and said he's got cash in hand and driving from SD to basically pick it up (his words).

We planned to meet late morning (Easter Sunday) in the mean time I've been contacted by others about 10 times today, well me being the nice person I am gave info but made it clear a guy is coming today and you know blah blah blah...and he's got 1st dibs (my mistake) Well he came 3 hrs late and he left empty handed, he tried to freakin low ball me, BIG TIME! What a waste of my time

I've been very truthful about the camper, he had no surprises when showing up to take a look, very frustrating! (nothings wrong with the darn thing it's a fantastic deal if your in the market for a used inexpensive camper)

It's listed for more on craigs than here so I was willing to be a little flexable, but sheesh

Guess that's what I get for being the nice gal,

Anyhow this badboys still up for sale
