1) Major THANKS to Tani for making available (to STR members) such a wonderful offer!

2) Tani: Thank you for mentioning "my name" in one of your posts! I am not worthy. I am also deeply honored!

3) For those who are not familiar with the "DW" Linkage, it is (in my opinion) the most "complete" linkage on the planet! http://dw-link.com/reasons.html

4) If Tani/ The SoCal IH rep hold a DEMO day, I will work it for free!!!

5) Purchase an DW Link Iron Horse (from Tani) and *I* would be willing to (personally) deliver it to your HOUSE!!! Note: Would require Tani's approval.... The purchaser's approval.... I would be willing to drive anywhere within a 40 mile radius of The Path Bike Shop! Uh, NO I am not kidding!

6) The timing of this thread could NOT be more perfect! I truly feel sorry for anyone attending tomorrow's FULLY RIDE- I will be in SELLING MODE!

7) I can think of four or five people who are shaking in their boots right now! Hide... Change your numbers...... That knocking you hear is ME!

Tani (cough owns two Iron Horse bikes cough) with 2006 & 2007 DH World Cup Champion Sam Hill!!!

Bonus: An unreleased study by The American Medical Association has shown riding a DW LINK Iron Horse resulted in 1) a 400% increase in bike skills 2) increased the likelihood of a podium finish by a staggering 2,200% 3) made bike rides 23,548% more enjoyable......

Thanks again Tani!
Hmm you seem to be willing to push this brand Dino.
How far are you willing to push it?
I guess the golden question is,
Wanna buy me one??

however Tani is a smart business man I didn't think he would go as high as 29% off. But I hope I am wrong!

Hey Dino, if your into investing, maybe you should buy a 6point, put the coil shock on, but the different stroke to make it 7 inches of travel, then put a 66 or a 40 or something on it, and let me race it. It'd probly be light enough that i could race Xc, Super D and DH on it

Like i said, you should "Invest"

  1. Will IH ever make a big boy bike?
  2. If IH stopped making bikes would you stop riding

Brandon- If you keep hounding me, I may just do that! ANYTHING to make you go away!

DeeZee- If Dave Weagle stopped making the DW LINK, I would consider taking one year off from riding! I would probably backpack EUROPE for six months in hopes I could re-connect with myself! Either that or therapy!

Note: I am already considering therapy! The person responsible for me riding an IH has recently left the company!

Yikes, what happened? Will IH continue to carry parts for their DW bikes? It would suck when they run out of replacement parts.

Where does the 7point weigh in as a complete bike? 45-47 lbs?

I'm at work and can't be browsing tons of pages.

I can attest to this... The 7 point pedals very well.. I would Ride one on XC no joke. I rode sharky's and i can see why Dino Loves iron horse bikes. They are VERY pedal effecient. I would say the most pedal efficient bike i've ridden
