Right to the point, I have 3, 29er frames to sell:
-Medium Salsa El Mariachi in Superior Blue w/ matching cromoto grande fork $400.00 Great shape barely ridden a few scratches in the paint More pictues can be found here: http://gallery.mtbr.com/showgallery.php?cat=1291 -Large Salsa El Mariachi in Tomatillo Green w/ matching cromoto grande fork $325.00 Perfect shape with the exception if a tiny ding in the top tube (still perfectly safe in my opinion) More pictures can be found here: http://gallery.mtbr.com/showgallery.php?cat=12910 -Medium Salsa Dos Niner in Very Verde Green (05 model) $400.00 Well used, but in excellent condition. Shock holds air perfectly. verde.jpg (I will post more pictures tonight) I also have various components (seatposts, stems, headsets, 29er tires, tubes, a few pedals) which I can sell you with a frame. You can pm me here or e-mail me at: n0b0dy_02 “at” yahoo.com Now for the dirty details: I live in San Diego (92120). I am fine with local pick up or I can ship to you. You will have to pay shipping which will be between $30 and $55 depending on where you are. If you pick up locally I require cash or I’ll accept a paypal payment. If I’m shipping I require paypal or a postal money order. I have been buying and selling bike parts and frames for the better part of a decade and I’m pretty good at it, I have 100% eBay feedback (bikeadict) and I sell often on MTBR with perfect results (centerriderider). You can buy with confidence. If you think my price is out of line, shoot me an offer. Also, if you want to make the trip down to San Diego and take out one of the frames for a test ride I can set it up as a complete bike for you to take out. The El Mariachi is a Steel (True Temper OX Platinum) 29er with an eccentric bottom bracket (allows you to run gears or Single Speed). You can find all geometry for the medium and large here: (http://salsacycles.com/archive/elmariachi.html ) I am a big fan of this frame it is perfect for single speeding and fits a fatty 2.4” tire in the back.. You may be thinking “well if you’re a fan, why are you selling 2?” That’s pretty simple: Because: I bought the Large in Tomatillo green and was very pleased with it, but it was a little too big) I got a great deal on the medium in superior blue and it fit me perfectly but I really loved the tomatillo green color. So I finally broke down and bought a medium in tomatillo green now I have 2 extra frames. The Salsa Dos Niner was my first real race bike. I purchased it back in fall of 2005. It is in excellent condition with a few scratches and scrapes but functionally and structurally it is perfect. You can find info on the current frame here, it has changed a little but this should give you an idea: http://salsacycles.com/dosniner08.html For those of you who done know, this is a soft tail frame which means it has 1” of pivotless travel to smooth out the ride. I am only selling this frame because I bought a new 07 Dos Niner and need to simplify my bike life. Thanks for looking -Palek Last edited by bikeadict; 02-27-2008 at 05:26 AM. Reason: add links |

I've added a couple of links with pictures of the El Mariachi's:
You can find pictures of the Tomatillo green Large here: http://gallery.mtbr.com/showgallery.php?cat=1290 You can find pictues of the Superior Blue Medium one here: http://gallery.mtbr.com/showgallery.php?cat=1291 In addition to the frame and fork, the Superior Blue frame comes with a Cane Creek S2 headset and the Tomatillo Green one comes with a Race Face Deus XC headset. However, I do only have 1 seatpost clamp (some how I lost one) so the first frame to sell, gets the liplock setpost collar also. Thanks for looking |
