I am selling my Gary Fisher Big Sur to make room for future goodies. I bought the bike in 2004 and converted it from a geared bike to a single speed. It's a good little bike and is very solid. It has a lot of original parts, but everything is in great working order. Easily converted back to a gearie.
Here are the stats: Size: Small, 15.5" Frame: 1998 Gary Fisher Big Sur (was a gearie) Fork: 2003/2004 Rock Shox Duke 80mm Chain Tensioner: Surly Singleator Gear Ratio: 36 x 18 Rims: Maverick ERD542 Hubs: Gary Fisher (f), Parallax (r) Cranks: Sugino Mighty 350X, 175 mm Brakes: Avid 10, side pull Tires: Specialized Roll X Pro, 2.0" Bars: Sunline, VThree/254 26" (brand new, 1/08 ) Headset: Aheadset Stem: 80mm Grips: Salsa Saddle: Specialized Pedals: Shimano M505 or M545, your choice Asking $300 OBO. |

Nice! People spend more than that on their "budget" singlespeed projects, and they still may not be as nice.
Good luck with the sale, and congratulations to the new owner!

Just make sure to check with a local shop on how much to box it up, and also get an estimate on shipping based on price/size. |
