That was Friday 7:30 PM. I don't get a response back from him that night, no big deal. The next day I get online at 11:30 AM, no response from him, nobody's buying anything so I leave my house to enjoy a Saturday with my GF. I get back online Sunday around 11 AM, and see that he has posted this in my thread.

I was going to ship it today, but was waiting to hear from you to see if you wanted a refund.

You sent the payment on Saturday afternoon. I was gone this weekend, enjoying the weekend. Sorry if I couldn't get back to you but you have to realize that people do other things besides sit on the computer all weekend. The last time I was online was 02-23-2008, 11:26 AM according to STR, you sent payment after that, then I saw your post in my thread on Sunday when I got back home and then checked my paypal.

It's not like I was doing it on purpose. When you first said you were interested in the headset in my thread I responded immediately because I was online.

You overreacted, it's not like I could have shipped it on Saturday evening or Sunday anyways.

So, I leave it up to you, like I did yesterday, would you like me to ship it or refund your money. I won't ship it until you have responded to this so I can make sure you are completely satisfied. I don't want you to feel like I am doing you wrong, I am just trying to make you happy.

I just bought a set of pedals from another individual... and there were MAJOR communication problems with doing the deal. I said I'd take the pedals on Sunday. I gave the guy my phone number, and my email address and my schedule. What I got back was no email, no cell phone number, saying that his cell phone is jacked, and no way to get it done on Sunday morning, with a waste of time, all via PM's in a 90 minute period sunday AM, waiting for PM's here. If you want to get it done, exchange cell phone numbers or working land line numbers or phone numbers, right from the get go, not when you feel like getting around to it. When you say it's "sold" and you accept, get 'er done with a phone call. Don't leave the buyer hanging.
We are in an age where with a push of a button, a sale or transaction is made and confirmed, instantly, via an email. When you sell something, confirm it with the buyer, via an email, not a PM .

Folks, in the interest of making things smooth... don't rely on PM's here on this BB... Most of us don't live here on this board checking all the time for PM's. I do check my email inbox all the time, and my cell phone is on almost all the time. If your cell phone is jacked, use a land line, or give us a number you can be reached at so that we can call you.

I know Big Ring 101... I went to the Tour of California with him on Sunday, and the guy is silent and unassuming.

You sellers need to understand that you need to sacrafice some of your time to sell items. It's like a garage sale, you need to be there to move the items and put the time in.

Poor communication is the cause.... get off the computer and on the phone, get some face to face time in and call each other with your schedules, what you are going to do, how you ship it and when you ship it, with a tracking number and this will put an end to the name calling.

It's always the buyer taking the risk with sending money to the seller and risking getting hung out to dry. Be a good seller and confirm in a timely manner.

I'm sure it was. and the buyer was frustrated with sending money and getting no timely response. Sending money off and not getting confirmation in 2 days pretty much sucks on the sellers part.
