Default Specialized 2008 Myka HT Comp - Women's beginner bike

Here's a nice bike for your wife or girlfriend to get started in mountain biking!

I'm posting this for a Trail Angel friend of mine, so I don't have any first-hand information about the bike. I will post her sale info below. If you are interested I will PM you her email address.

Size Medium (17) - best fit for 5'4"-5'6" (according to Eric at RnR).

"If you or anyone you know is interested in a Specialized 2008 Myka Comp Hard Tail, I am helping a friend sell hers. She rode it one time - - with me - - from the parking lot of Aliso Woods to the bottom of Cholla and back. That was it. The bike was purchased December 23rd and was “ridden” January 12th. (I say “ridden” because she came back down the hills by straddling the middle bar and walking it down.) It has been sitting in my garage ever since. (Although I did take it to Rock ‘n Road today to get a spit and polish done on it.)

The MSRP for the bike on the Specialized site is $590, but it was purchased at the MV Rock ‘n Road Cyclery for $529. My friend would like to sell it for $450.00 obo."

My TA source says she hated it like the plague.

EDIT: That seems a little short for a size 17 bike to me... I think it would fit a taller girl better (5'6" and over).
