looking to buy your old portable cassette player/radio. preferably the older 80's style ghettoblaster. looking for something rather cheap, just laying around in ur garage.. trying to spend aroun $50 with shipping to eugene, or. let me kno what u got

haha. i just found some amazing tapes at goodwill for way cheap and feel the need to play them on something cool. nwa-straight outta compton, george clinton- atomicclinton, digital underground-sex packets, amd curtic mayfeild- moveon up.

For 50$, maybe 70, You should be able to find a decent tape deck, get a 1/8" stereo splitter and record the tapes to your PC (or MAC). Then you can save them to CD or make MP3 and take 'em with you.

oh for sure. i have all the mp3's but its just a dif experience with a box.. hit asome pawn shops today in springfield,or. im sure there arent nearly as many here as back in socal

Be sure to get one that needs at least 20 D size batteries to run...and hopefully they can throw in some cardboard too.

Honestly I think my grandma in mexico has one at her house. That shizz is old school. It was probably my dads or one of his brothers(my uncles) but I should try to bring that over since it looks like it is somewhat a collectors item.

haha the price of the ghetto blaster isn't what you should worry about, the amount of batteries it takes to power it up and how little run time they have on 12 D batteries is the big concern.

Maybe you can hit up Chad Muska...
It would be cool as hell to just show up with one at random though. haha
