Neato, yup I'm kinda a retro grouch. I have some tech catching up to do.

I'll measure my frame tonight. The good ol boys have really hung in there, with their goofy by gosh and by golly system of measurement. It's only a matter of time.

In the world of economics its a semi smart thing to do, protect your home market by forcing everyone to use a measurement system that no one else uses........ although they may still use it in Poland?

shims are for 31.8 and 28.6 seat tubes. I love how Shimano forces the Yanks to go metric
I thought it was the other way around? Doesn't 28.6 mm = 1 1/8 inches? And 31.8 mm = 1 1/4 inches?
