I think Brew is right, most of us would like to think that our bikes don't drop in value by a lot, but if you look around lots of bikes have been on sale for a long time, sitting. My buddy just picked up an 03 Giant DH comp(lists new is 3500) for 800 bucks, cuz the guy just wanted it gone, cuz he never rode it...so maybe 1200 is a good and realistic price..

1200.00 is a very realistic price... I had an 07 575 that was only 2 weeks old and had to reduce it down to around 1400.00 to move it. It was a base model with a very similer build accept an upgrade to Juicy 5's...
