Default Shock Pump

I just bought my first nice fork (07 Fox F100 RL) and can't wait to ride it but before I do that I need to set it up to my weight the other settings that I honestly don't really know how to use. I've read that there are low/high pressure pumps and some that have bleeder buttons but other than that I'm not sure what else I'm looking for. Anyone have one that they would like to sell? Preferrably in good condition. Thanks

Congrats on the new fork. Nice forks are... well, nice.

I don't think shock pumps are that expensive (mine was thrown in w/ bike purchase). Perhaps what you should be asking of this cool STR community is for someone to set up your fork (and show you how). I'm sure someone will have a pump at a large ride.

The main thing is to set it so that the fork drops 15-25% of its travel when you sit on the bike.

I should have a spare shock pump lying around at home you can have. I'll have to check when I get home from work later this afternoon though.

All shock pumps are high pressure. It's the gauge that determines how accurate low pressure readings are.
I'm not sure what the gauge readings are on the spare I have. Most likely 0-300psi. I believe all shock pumps also have bleeder valves also.

Manitou makes a nice little shock pump made specifically for lower pressure shocks like many forks are. If you don't have a rear shock that requires high pressure, you might look into one of those (IF your fox fork is also that type - don't know for certain as I've never owned a Fox fork).
