Default Fox Float 32

Looking to buy a Fox Float 32 mm or F Series XC fork. I need to replace (but keep) my 08 Talas 36 for easier XC riding (aka VQ, Fontana races) to lighten up the bike a bit.

Anybody have a lead?

Thanks for the heads up

I am going to hold out for a couple days and see if anyone has an F100 but the Float is my 2nd choice.

Not yet. Tani and Brian are trying to sway me to the 29er crowd

For now, I am trying to hold out and see if anyone's got an F100 they want to sell me...c'mon I know you're out there!!

But, the Float is an option since it adjusts between 80-120 or so.

Yes, the Yeti is on a diet (hey, I am too so it's all fair...btw when we got back from our east coast Christmas sloth-a-thon I weighed 146. Today...136!! That's what 42 miles of suffering will do...help you get skinny!! I call it "The Mann Diet" )

Anyway, here are the mods so far for "Yeti Lite":

8" front rotor down to 6"
Gravity dropper to a straight post (Easton)
2.35" tires down to 2.1"

And hopefully a new/used lighter fork. I am going to keep all the other parts for modifying back to a trail bike when needed.

Watch out girlie...I'm coming to getcha (I mean that in a joking way of course)!

I managed to gain 3lbs over the weekend

Sounds like some good stuff. For you, I think it's probably best to try the bike diet, and then if you decide you want to do endurance and/or XC, possibly look into another bike then. Ride the 29er first (and maybe even test out a few others) and decide if you like that or the 26". You can get a 26" probably lighter and cheaper. Lemme know how the test ride goes

FWIW, I know you'll be passing me soon! Possibly this weekend.
