Default Santa Cruz Blur 4X Frame w/extras (Medium)

Santa Cruz Blur 4X Frame w/extras $995

Frame only w/RP23 retails for $1,584.

NOT A COMPLETE BIKE - FRAME ONLY
  • Medium Frame with RP23 (Ano finish)
  • Cane Creek S3 Headset
  • Shimano XT Front Der
  • Santa Cruz Seat Post Clamp
  • Thomson Seatpost (scratched to no end - this thing looks like it's wearing The Path argyle with all it's scratches. Seriously, it's ugly. But it's still working!)

Purchased at the end of 2006. Ridden as a trail bike. It's an awesome bike and I'm only moving it to try something new.

Get it for the Fontana season and race 4X and/or Super D on it. Or build it like a trail bike and enjoy the super agile slalom bike handling, efficient rear suspension, and hooligan inducing slack head angle. According to SCB you can slopestyle on it, too, if you're so inclined. There are a few scratches from normal riding, some minor cable rub, and no creaks. It's still built, for now, so let me know if you're 1) serious and 2) want to take it for a ride.

See the geometry here.

Paypal only, please. I'm in Irvine but can meet you in Aliso Woods or possibly another park. I'll leave it here for STR first dibs for a week. MTBR next week. Thanks for looking.

PM me or email me if you're interested: scruffylooking at gmail dot com.

We were looking at 4x bikes not too long ago, but I have my sights set elsewhere.

The Blur 4x is a great trail bike. If you are shopping for a Chumba XCL, you might want to test ride a Yetti 575, Canfield Brothers Balance or a Ventana X-5.

It is a good idea to ride the others, that way you'll feel how much better the Chumba XCL is.

Wow, which ones? I just looked those up and they're spendy although they look like they're worth every penny.

I've got a few hours before the rains make their way down from your neck of the woods. I think I'll take a long lunch and go for a ride - stick it to the man!

Someone buy my bike. =)

bump for a sweet bike and for two guys on the early morning grind!

You guys are just more about it than I. If I am up at that hour I am usually just up to take a leak or let the dogs out.

Thanks. I feel surprisingly decent for only getting three hours of sleep.
