dude, i am seriously getting old......heavy bikes are too much for me nowadays. simply could not get a good deal on a delerium and in fact, couldnt even get a new terremoto but got a great deal on a used one.

on a serious note, i could care less how much a bike weighed. i would have bought a delerium in a heartbeat if i had bigger huevos....as much as i love that bike, it would be far too embarassing on the trail to not push such a bike to at least half its limit

worrying about weight on a bike when you want 6" travel is ghey....it only implies you dont NEED 6" and may as well stick to something less (not that I need it but then again i dont whine about weight). so called "light" 6" travel bikes are nothing more than morphed XC bikes built to be 6" just cuz that is where the market is...no thanks. If i wanted a real turner i would keep this 06 and sure as hell would not buy a new one

understood....but probably less than 5-10% of people with 6" travel bikes even come close to needing/using it....its not about "need"

Haha, "bikes" and "need" never exist in the same sentence or train of thought. Science supports this fact.

My current ride is a Turner Burner with 3.5" of "plush" travel in back. w00t. Based on what I've ridden before this bike, anything over 5" in the back was overkill. As much as I'd love to enjoy riding a couch down the trail, the fear of lugging it up scares me back to reality.

How tall are you? My Turner is a large (24" ett) and it fits perfect.

That’s me exactly, “its not about need”!!! Fo’s ridden with me / my T-Moto, he knows I can only attempt to get close to its (or any 6”) full potential, but it sure is fun!!!

Can’t wait to see that thing. Your build, the one you are mostly swapping, will look amazing on the new* frame. This could be the sickest thing in SoCal!

Fo- I can remember when you first posted that bike on MTBR. Let's just say my eyes nearly popped out of my head! It was that day, I proclaimed you "The King Of Bling." Keep up the good work!

One of my favorite MTB pics of all-time is related to THIS bike. Where was the image taken?

Good luck with the sale

i did have big plans for 08 though much of that is foiled....wife started new job but conflicting with my plans for a few months as her shifts are NOT conducive to riding schedules.....but probably averaging 1 ride every week and half right now so yeah, getting back to it but wont be "sandbagging" level till April or so....just having fun in the meantime!

didn't realize the frame was sold. as you may well know, turner's warranty is transferable as long as the current owner possesses(what a strange word) the original receipt, which is why I was asking.
