Default good set of XC rims

I had the Path rebuild my Chris King hubs and Im looking to rebuild a nice set of wheels, not too blingish but good and solid...maybe for a, dare I say it, SS conversion? *insert dramatic music here*

what? are you looking for rim suggestions to go with your CK hubs? Or did you have the CK hubs built already, and you're looking for a whole new wheelset?

Stan's Arches for XC. Or maybe Flows (+50g). Light, pretty strong so far, and tubeless system works good.

Whatever you do, just get a regular 9-speed hub if you're thinking SSpeed. Run spacers and cogs.

I like the Hope Pro 2 hubs, or maybe Hope Pro 2 front, with a 9-speed White Ind. rear. The White is a little heavier but it's dead quiet and is pretty smooth. Should be cheaper too than Hope Pro 2.

If you want to save some coin, I hear okay things about the Bontrager Race Lite wheelset for about $400. 28 hole spokes though. Never tried'em though.

Try these:
http://www.cambriabike.com/shopexd.a...C+717+DISC+RIM

http://www.cambriabike.com/shopexd.a...+4.2D+DISC+RIM

If you use the code CBOX7X you can get an additional 20% off.

They have a pretty big selection of rims, but I don't have much experience with the others.

The bontrager wheels are pretty decent if cost is an issue. I've been running their race tubeless wheelset for a while now and have only had problems with the rear hub's seals loosening and the front quick release warping (damn drop-offs), other than that I have no complaints. The race lite wheelset saves maybe 20g but uses dt swiss internals on the hubs with a bontrager hub shell, they're basically DT onyx hubs which I hear are pretty fool/bomb proof

are the stans arch really worth the coin? $75+rim tape and valve ($15) after it's all said and done it might be worth going another alternative?
