Default Can’t believe this one got away!
A fellow STR member went to the swap meet yesterday and only wanted $1K for his Intense Uzzi SLX. And it didn’t sell. Chris King and XTR stuff all over this bike.

Large Intense Uzzi SLX Frame (large, 5’10” to 6’4” rider) newly powder coated in ’06 colors and graphics
  • All new bearings at pivots points
  • Adjustable rear travel
  • Quick release adjustable seat mast
  • Adjustable chain stay length
  • Adjustable rear travel! 6" or 7"
Mavic X 3.1 UST tubeless rims with Wheelsmith stainless spokes and red alloy nipples.
  • Chris King Red 20mm front hub[/SIZE][/FONT]
  • Chris King Red 12 mm Rear Wheel with through bolt. STIFF!!
Maxxis Mobster tires (1 ride on them)
  • 2.5 front
  • 2.3 rear
  • 5th Element rear shock (newly rebuilt) Pic shows air shock
Marzocchi Z1 fork 5” with lock out for climbing

Race Face carbon aluminum cranks (I also have the big ring)

Isis Bottom bracket (new)

Race Face seat post

LRP shiftable chain guide

Chris King Red head set

XTR front derailleur

XTR rear derailleur

XTR shifter

XTR brake levers (separate)

Race Face Diabolus stem

Avid mechanical disc brakes 7” rear 8” front

Flack Jacket brake housing (new)


Maybe interested in parting out. Heck I may buy it and part it out!


I owned one of these bikes and they are great.

I was looking at that bike-great bargain for the price but with christmas around the corner i had to walk away...and then sotop-look back, and walk away...then stop to come and take another look, then walk away...

The only problen I have with owning a turner is that I would have to park it outside... We have a noTurner rule for the Garage

One flavor of Koolaid is all I can stand at the moment...

oh i agree....its a great deal. i was complimenting the bike in fact.

i have not sold a bike in a long time compared to many folks yet my reputation supersedes that fact i guess. I love all my bikes, even though some will continue to be ridden very little

this is one of those times i wish i had 1000 bucks just lying around

seriously, if i had some spare cash, i would've bought it, but then again i just dropped a pretty big wad on a new trek. that things still rocks so im good
