Whoa! Didn't know that amazon.com sold bikes. What's next?

Is that a "park" bike? Meaning like a skate park-type bike?

This is an urban assault bike... a dirt jump bike... a 4X bike if you so desire.
It's a FREERIDE hardtail!!!

Hmmm. What would I want, 17" or 19"? I'm 5'10" with a 30" inseam. My Enduro SL is a large, but I don't know what the translates to here.

The bike is not your average XC HARDTAIL! It is a 35lb. assault vehicle that is meant to be beaten! May not be the bike for you!

What size? Hard to say. Generally, they go DOWN one size from their XC bike size (more flickable). Some like to ride the same size as their XC bike (less cramped feel). Personal preference!

Effective top tube of 17" (23.8") The 19" (24.5").

I've spent 8500 dollars on my house in the last 3 days.

Don't post this shiat!

Kind of funny, the guy from Empire Carpets comes in to quote us ( he's still here) and we pick the most expensive carpet of course, then he floors us with the price, 9500 smackers. I tell the wife, "No freekin way". She goes back and negotiates and we got it for 6500. WTF? Talk about a mark up.

Anyone purchased one of these from Amazon yet?? Just curioius, I noticed the details for the bike are not correct. According to the Amazon details, it has fr and rr derailers, 8 speed, WTB tires, 24 inch wheels, and so on.. So I am a little hesitant to order, is the picture correct or what?? Might just order and if it ain't right, send it back.. Looks like a fun ride. Erik

And this is part of the description:

"Iron Horse's distinctive looking Rearward Pivot System (R.P.S.) was developed as a result of Iron Horse's World Cup and world championship winning downhill program. First debuted on the Yakuza Kumicho downhill platform, it has migrated across the line of full suspension offerings from Iron Horse. The system features an improved pedaling response over other single pivot systems, along with great bump sensitivity and low pedal feedback on the big hits."

I guess the person who wrote this didn't know this bike doesn't have suspension.

[SIZE=3]Damn, Mike. For not much more, you could've had hardwood floors installed throughout the house. That's a lot of cash thrown away, IMO. Regardless, good luck with the shag.

ACTUALLY..... Your deductible will go DOWN!
According to Insurance Institute of America: any bike with an Iron Horse logo is the subject to a ".... 27% reduction" in rates. Something to do with the self-centering, self-cornering and self-righting features. Their "downhill" bikes (standard air bags in '0 enjoy 53% reductions.... Not bad!

As soon as IH perfects a rear ABS, I think you may have a convert.
