Hi,
I want some new surf boards for me and my daughters. I am interested in trading for a gift card at The Path. Here is my wish list: Shorter fun board or long board for my 80 pound 12 year old girl to learn on. Performance long board possible X-mass gift for my GF jaime who has expressed interest in learning to surf. Performance short board around 6' for me. I prefer a rounded square tail and three fins. I weigh 155 to 160. I have a lot of surfing experience, but because I only surf a few times a year now, I don't quite have the timing and arms I once did. I also have some boards with dings that need fixing. I know how to do it, but I never get around to it, and I'm better at fixing bikes than surf boards, so if any of you do ding repair, we can talk about that too. Thanks Last edited by thephat; 12-10-2007 at 07:40 AM. Reason: clarify |

I have a Lost squash with FCS. I think it's around 6'2". It's pretty thin. I got too fat to float it, but it was great when I weighed about 160 el bees. It's in good shape. One of the rails had a ding from hitting me in the head, but I've fixed it.
My wife didn't like the paint job. She called it "oogly eyes". It's kind of this green goo with eyeballs in it. If you're interested I could post a picture of it.

Hi Tani,
I have a performance 10Ft Harbour Rapier Longboard up for sale. I may consider a trade. The board hasd only been in the water maybe ten times.

Tani-
Check my thread of things I'm selling: The 7'6" egg might be a good fit some of your needs, and I'm flexible on the price (esp in return for similar consideration on parts!). It's going up on Craigs and eBay in the next day or so, but I'd much rather see it go to someone in "the family"

I don't want a lot for it. I was thinking about offering a trade if you're not interested.
lost1.jpg I noticed there are a couple of pressure dings on the bottom. I put a little resin in there to flatten them. lost2.jpg The ding is repaired with solarez. There's another one like it further down the rail. lost3.jpg

What's the width and thickness on that? My favorite 5'5" CI MBM got snapped in two places flying back from a trip this year...really bummed me out, to the point where I haven't really surfed since. Boards for my 125# aren't easy to find...

I like to be up to my armpits, not up to my nose when sitting out the back....
I'd need a little more thickness. My boards are around 2", usually. Cheers.

No worries Kanga - It's sized for my son ~75 lbs. He barely sank the board at all. I measured it at the rail. It could possibly be thicker in the center but it doesn't really look like it.
