gotta catch em all

Hey, I recently took my brother to fontana for the learn to huck clinic and he loved playing around on the 4x track. Problem is my old stinky is a bit too big for his right now and I am looking for a temporary fix. I am looking to buy a hardtail under four hundred dollars. The frame must be a small, fork with about 100mm travel(24 inch tires would be awesome, but not needed).
By any means I am not looking for something new or in pristeen condition(but if you have it that cheap, great). Just looking for something for him to play around with and fontana. Thanks, Ryan I also may be interested in a bmx instead, but I don't know how sizing on those goes. |

look for a used p2 or a used giant STP those are the irt jumper type bikes that would be perfect for the fontana 4x track

I got that jamis I rid eon the 4x for like 450 at jenson they still have some theyre 05's and the frame is totally buildable if you want to get into it later, i changed the brakes on mine, cut down the bars and SS 'd it but otherwise the fork holds up well and It seems to ride the 4x track just fine

I just notcied by checking store availability that they make an 18.5" frame too, so the 14" is bound to be a small. You saw how big he was do you think the 14" would suit him? He had some problems pushing the stinky up the hill because of height and he had some trouble mounting it at the top of the 4x track.

I bought a 25 buck dmr ss kit i think performance has a better setup for 25 bucks it wasnt bad with gears I might swicth mine back and run it 1 x 8 with a road cassette, I dont see andy reason why you couldnt run 24's that bikes seat gets way low and with a shorter stem you couldnt get much smalle
