I have a road ID and would wear it more but the info is almost all out of date. I wonder if they just sell the metal part

Kid A,

Do you work for Road ID? It seems they are based in Fort Mitchel, KY.

Thanks for the post. I think I'm going to get one for me and my uncle. We both ride alone frequently.

Yes they do.

I've had mine for 2 years and keep it on the outside of my CamelBak. A very good idea if you ask me.

My son and I both have Type 1 Diabetes, and we've been wearing these for the last couple of years;

They're very comfortable, and durable.

Just passing along this discount from RoadID in case anyone's looking to get one. I ordered a second one this week and they sent a reply message with the following:

Hey Everyone,

I just ordered one of the best products ever. It's called a Road ID - perhaps you've heard of it. If you haven't, go to their website and check it out. Road ID is a great product that could save your life someday.

When I ordered, they gave me a coupon that I could pass along to my friends. Here's the coupon number:

Coupon Number: ThanksBrian429227

The coupon is good for $1 off any Road ID order placed by 12/27/2008. To order, simply go to RoadID.com or click the link below:

http://www.RoadID.com/?CID=ThanksBrian429227

If you prefer, you can call them at 800-345-6335.

I know there is an option to get a Road ID with a code that the emergency crew can enter in some data base to look up your info. You have on line access to it so it can be updated at any time. Just not sure how much more that would be. But I thought it was a cool concept.

Road ID Interactive...first year free...$9.95 a year thereafter. If you move a lot this might be cool.
